China Promoted Yuan Currency

Recently, China government promoted their currency, Yuan, as a global currency. They started it with allowed their neighbour district, Hongkong and Macao, to use Yuan as payment transaction. The next move is using Yuan when make a deal with ASEAN country.

This movement has many benefits, such as help China’s export, decrease rate fluctuation, especially for facing the economic global crisis recently.

I’m sure the using of Yuan as payment will affect in tourism activity. Tourists will not have to use (or bring) US$ or Euro any longer for the transactions. They can directly use Yuan in their vacation.

This is make me wondering, can Indonesia government make Rupiah as global currency? source from here
