Malaka, Another Victim of NPWP

Well, not only Singapore who became a victim of NPWP, but Malaka as well. Malaka governor, Mohd Ali Rustam, said new fiscal policy from Indonesia made an effect, the tourist from Indonesia decreased whereas Chinese New Year (Imlek) will coming soon, and Malaka had became a destination to celebrate Imlek for Indonesia tourists.

Even tourists from Indonesia is only about 9.4% from overall, but I think they are quite generous to spend their money.

The hotel booking in Malaka, from Indonesia, in order to celebrate Imlek, was informed quite decrease.

Geez, I’m getting confuse with this NPWP thing. Did government not thinking about this effect?
