India is well known as one of country which has exotic culture. The adore to the God made India has many festival to express they are really adore to their Gods that had given they many blesses.
One of festival is Deodhani festival. This festival was held on August, every year and dedicated for Manasa, God of Snake. This year, festival was held in Hindu Kamakhya temple, in Nilachal Hill, Gauhati, Assam, India. Hundred of Hindunese attended on this festival.
Some men will dance until the trance came to them. During the trance, many Hinduneses believe the God gives the power to the dancer so many Hinduneses hope they get that bless as well.
The preparation of this festival had to be done at least 1 month before.
I think you must put this event to your agenda, especially if you have a plan to visit India on August.
