Well, for you who want spend your time in Bali on New Year, you can consider “Melepas Matahari 2008″ event to be attended.
More 1,500 artists will attend the event in Denpasar, took Puputan Badung stadium as the center of event. Many arts activities will be held on Dec 31, from dawn until the next year (2009), such as trade exhibition, carnival, traditional dancing, and many more. You also can see Balinese traditional sport “Metejog”, Barong in South Denpasar, Jambe musical, Pelegongan traditional dance, and many more.
