Well, Bali was also became a victim of bombing on 2002. After that moment, Bali tourism were freezing for couple months and it was really affected the Balinese life since they were quite shocked for the terror.
But now, after 10 days after the Jakarta bombing incident, it seems the tourism in Bali will not affected with the incident. I think the distance is the important things, beside (as far as i know) the security in Bali were increased to check many passengers and people who came in to Bali.
I also read in some newspaper the tourists who left Bali, because they were afraid with the terror, were not reported. Well, I don’t know if the media try to hide it, but I think it’s a good move. Media should write down the ‘good’ thing so they can calm down the situation in order to make the tourists not afraid.
