Mekarsari, An Interesting Orchard

Mekarsari is well known as one of famous orchard around Jakarta. It is located in Jalan Raya Cileungsi, Jonggol, hmmm…not quite far from Jakarta. You can reach it in maximum 2 hours (if there is a traffic jam) in work day, but it could be doubled in week end.

Besides using private transportation, you can also use public transportation. Of course, you will need more time to reach the location. This orchard has 264 hectare and it is divided into some regions, such as rare fruit region, seedling region, green house, lakes, and many more.

The best way to take a tour to all region in this orchard is using car-train. By riding this vehicle, you will visit many interesting places, such as star fruit garden, deer cage, green house.

If you are tired, you can take a rest in Danau Cipicung.
