A member of DPR (house of representative), Joko Santoso, said the idea of Visit Indonesian Year 2008 is a big mistake since, he said, some tourists are known better the detail of destination tourists in Indonesia. He suggested, the motto is 'should' like Visit Toba Year, Visit Musi Year, etc. Joko said some destinations in Indonesia have a good chance to compete with some international's destination, but the support from the government (local or central government) are so low and also ignore this potenty. No wonder, domestic tourist prevent to go abroad to see the similar tourist objects.

An Indonesian Culture Exhibition was held in Geneva, Switzerland, couple days ago. Using "Balinese Dish: Delicious and Savoury" topic, this event was held by diplomat wives whom joined in United Nations Women`s Guild (UNWG). The target of this exhibition is to succeed Visit Indonesian Year 2008. Even the topic use Bali, there were Indonesian foods (from any cultures) provided, such as Sate Seafood, Sup Ayam "Cram Cam" dan Saus pedas, Sari Segara Bumbu Mentah.
