Good news for Indonesian tourism. On Dec 2007, the number of tourists is increasing about 10.29% compared with Dec 2006. The deputy of Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Ali Rosyidi, said this couple days ago. He also said, the number is also increasing about 7.86% compared Nov 2007.
Minister of Culture and Tourism, Jero Wacik, hopes this number will increase in 2008 since Indonesia has declared 2008 as Visit Indonesia Year event. As you know, VIY 2008 has target to bring in about 7 million tourists.
We hope this target can be achieved.
