Indonesia will take a part on International Miss Tourism. Johnnie Sugiarto, from El John foundation, said this couple days ago.
He also said, he will held Indonesia Miss Tourism since he claimed his event will be supported by National Education Department (Depdiknas). The reason why Miss Tourism Indonesia is held, because recently the similar events were only held in local. Johnnie said, he wants to unite and invite local participants, so the event can attract more tourists.
The winner of Indonesia Miss Tourism will sign a contract and will be sent to International Miss Tourism.
More than 100 girls had been registered to take a part to Indonesia Miss Tourism. Only 40 contestants will be chosen and will be ‘carantined’ in The Batavia Hotel, Jakarta.
The final from this event will be held on June 28 - July 5 2008.
