Spanish Tourism Magazine, “Viajes y Turistico”, gave an award to Indonesia as the best destination for the future (Premio Mejor Destino Turistico de Futuro). Faustino Castilla, as director of Viajes Y Turistico magazine, gave the award on the award event best for tourism, located in Colon Madrid Hotel.

The award was given based on polling from magazine reader.

Allen Simarmata, an ambassador staff (culture and social function), said this award is the first time for Indonesia that was given by “Viajes y Turistico” magazine. He also said, this award is a prove for the promotion tours that was held by Indonesia Ambassador (KBRI) on Spain. KBRI, by did cooperation with Culture and Tourism Department, held International Tourism Week every year.

This award is also a prove that Indonesia, especially Bali, is become one of interesting destination for Spanish tourists. I hope Indonesia government (and local government) can increase their services, so more tourists will come.
