Decreasing, Tourists who Visit Jakarta

Since there were many demonstrations, especially during moment of gas price was going to increase, that ended in chaos, many tourist decided not to visit Jakarta. The safety factor became their priority, since Jakarta had a bad moment in 1998.

Previously, there were 128.772 visiting on May 2008 but in June, the number was decreasing, not quite significant, only 2.10%. Anyway, this is an anomaly, since June is a holiday season in Indonesia.

Phew…since chaos becomes a ‘habit’ for each demonstration, I thinks the police officers should take an assertive action to assuage the demonstrations. the pic was taken from here
