An unique discovery had happened in Gianyar, Bali. Some archeologs found a tomb contains 3 sarcofags couple weeks ago. The condition of those sarcofags were quite fine, only 1 which has been broken.
Unfortunately, those sarcofags hadn’t been covered well. It made 2 other sarcofags get broken as well. This broken was found when the archeologs tried to move those sarcofags to Archeolog Center in Denpasar.
The sarcofags’ age is predicted about 2500 years old. However, the competent archeolog staff will investigate the cause of the broken.
Other sarcofags were predicted still buried in the Keramas village. Hope the archeologs will take care other sarcofags (if they were found). pic and news from here
