Well, many Indonesian people, especially Indonesian youth, don’t know what Jegog is. Jegog is one of Balines traditional art.
During president campaign, jegog got a special attention since many campaign team hire jegog artists to perform during the campaign. At least, this is what happened to Tingklik, one of jegog artists from Jembaran, Bali.
The attractive and the spirit of jegog music can ‘burn up’ any attendants who visit the campaign.
Unfortunately, jegog got attention during the campaign. Afterwards, nobody remember this traditional art. Poor jegog.
