After Jakarta bombing, many people were afraid Jakarta tourism will be collapse. But, they are wrong…TOTALLY WRONG!
Monumen Nasional (Monas) which is located about 5 kilometres from the bombing location was still crowded by tourists, not only domestic tourists but also foreign tourists, such as from United States and Italy. Daniel, the US tourist, said he didn’t affect with the bombing since he believed that bombing incident is a ‘common’ thing. He also believe the target is not the person like him. geez…how confidence, heheh..
There are other tourists who have the same thinking like Daniel. They were not afraid with the bomb terror and still spend their holidays in Indonesia by visiting many destinations.
We can say Monas as indicator of Jakarta tourism. If the visitors of Monas is decreasing after the incident, maybe it’s a signal for local government to make an innovation in Monas.
